Kansas State University Department of Clinical Sciences: Mobile Van Design
Challenge: Design a mobile van wrap that promotes the medical care KSU will give to shelter pets across the state to make more animals ready for adoption. Acknowledge the donors who make this service available while also providing a teaching opportunity and experience for the veterinary students who help staff the van.
Solution: Utilize the KSU mascot, the power cat, for instant recognition as a K-State vehicle. Brand the van “K-State Mobile Surgery Unit” and include the slogan “Future vets helping future pets.” Along with the Veterinary Health Center logo and images of a dog and cat, the design makes clear what services are offered and by whom.
